I want AI doing more in my business, but I also have absolutely no desire to wake up and find out it’s writing random pieces of content for me. 🙅‍♀️

There’s a difference between helping me get work done and giving it permission to handle every situation.

Draft the email? Yes.
Send it without me reviewing it? Hold on.

Research someone before a call? Please.
Decide whether they’re the right person to hire? That decision stays with me.

Help me think through an offer? Absolutely. Ask me questions. Point out what I haven’t considered. Give me something to think about.

But I’m still responsible for deciding what makes sense for me and my business.

This is what I’m working through right now... looking at the actual tasks inside my week and figuring out where AI can do useful work, where I need to review it, and where a person needs to be involved.

And honestly, some of my favorite uses are the little things.

Remembering to follow up. Gathering information before I need it. Getting my ideas into a draft so I’m not staring at a blank screen.

Those things take time. They also take up space in my brain long after I’ve closed my laptop.

I’d love to finish my week with fewer things hanging over me and spend the weekend with my family without mentally running through everything I forgot.
